Currency Converter

Convert money between major world currencies. When you are online, the converter loads the latest European Central Bank reference rates (published on working days) and shows their date. If those cannot be loaded, it falls back to built-in approximate rates and says so clearly.

Step-by-step working
  1. Rate USD→INR = 88 ÷ 1 (both per 1 USD) = 88
  2. 100 × 88 = ₹8,800.00

Reference rates are mid-market indications. Banks and card providers add a margin, so the amount you actually receive will differ.

How to use the Currency Converter

  1. Enter the amount.
  2. Choose the currency you have and the one you want.
  3. Press Calculate. Check the rate source line under the result.

Formula

Converted amount = Amount × (rate of target currency ÷ rate of source currency), with both rates quoted against the US dollar.

Examples

  • If 1 USD = 0.86 EUR and 1 USD = 88 INR, then 1 EUR = 88 ÷ 0.86 ≈ 102.33 INR.
