How the date maths works
Dates are handled as whole calendar days, so results do not drift with your device’s time zone or daylight saving changes. When a month has no matching day (adding one month to 31 January, for example) the last day of the month is used. Business-day tools let you choose your weekend pattern and add your own public holidays, because these differ by country and employer.
